I'd have to agree with JonnyNo a little, The people atmospere and menu are unique but the coffee... Jonny, ash mixed with poison a little harsh mate. But I've had better, like just around the corner at Crave. But never the less, I still enjoy visiting every now and then for there adventurous menu and cool lighting.

This has become my favourite cafe in Kingsland, if not Auckland. The coffee (which is my main reason for going there) is consistently good. For something a little different, try the mocha, which includes a full Sante bar! The food is simple brunch fare and is cheap and very tasty.
The cafe has a fantastic atmosphere, with lots of funky comics painted on the walls and retro kiwiana cups and spoons. It can get a little noisy on a Saturday morning (can be a few too many children running around too), particularly if you need the coffee to nurse a hangover, but there is outdoor seating as well.
