My husband and I were recommended this cafe by friends of ours who live in carseldine. we are from the sunshine coast and make this our regular stop when visiting brisbane. the food is very tasty and a nice change to some of the bland franchised cafes. we particularly love the home made tomato chutney. coffee is superb and the staff are always friendly! definitely not what you would expect from a small suburban cafe. we tell all our friends
If beanhunter is all about coffee worth traveling for this cafe needn't be listed.
Neither of my visits have been pleasant. Staff seem more concerned with their own personal conversations than being of any kind of help. Service is slow. Coffee is either over heated and bitter or underextracted and bland.
Next time I feel like lowering my standards I'll visit the coffee chain in the same centre.
