Perth can often be a hard place to find a great coffee and I'm a fussy coffee drinker - I must say, this place actually does an amazing coffee. I've visited a few times now, and each time, it has been one of the finest coffees I've had the pleasure of drinking.

Synesso machine, 5 senses beans and a barista that knows what he is doing AND cares. Excellent coffee, you have to have a second, then maybe a third. Tiny place, but you come here for the coffee......This was nearly the best coffee I have ever had, it was that good!
Like • Share • ReportAfter moving to Perth from the east cost nearly 2 years ago, I have been struggling to find somewhere that makes a beautiful coffee at a reasonable price... until now! My flat white ($3.50) was silky smooth, with lovely chocolatey and caramel flavours and rounded out with a good punch of caffiene to give you a top up mid morning. What's more, the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and well trained (there's no crusty milk anywhere in sight of the steamer nozzle). I'm looking forward to going back there next time I'm in the city and will try their top shelf blend!

I notice you wrote your review this week...but they haven't even had the rolls for a few weeks so you must have been stewing on this for a while.
I have been to this cafe about ten times now and the staff do appear to have a fair bit of knowledge, with the exception of one guy who readily admits he's new at being a barista.....we all have to start somewhere am I correct?

I am quite shocked by the review by 'sentinal'. Clearly that guy/gal has issues. First of all, the service was fantastic- they were really friendly and kept the conversation up while I was waiting for my coffee (and my H&C croissant *mmmm*) and if the manager was anymore friendly she would give me her house and her purse- is that what sentinal was after perhaps? anyway, great service, fantastic atmosphere. And the coffee...

Shocking, zero coffee knowledge in any of the counter staff. Flat white was sour and thin, sandwich rolls were small and expensive.
Music was obnoxiously loud; couldn't see any drinks in the fridge behind properly due to an enormous fridge next to the counter which strangely enough didn't show any of the food well inside. Extremely rude manager.
Hot water system in plain site dripping water in to the sink. Ew.
Overall, absolutely shocking and expensive. It won't last long before another coffee shop goes down the drain due to irresponsible operations.
