I went into this cafe on great advice expecting a great coffee but was very disappointed. The service was first, waiting a good 10 minutes before getting any. there is one large table and a couple of smaller ones. a very tight and small space but an easy space to service as there were atleast 4 staff but i had to ask twice . first being told `be with you in a minute` 5 minutes later was able to place an order. the staff seemed more interested talking behind the counter than serving. The coffee was neither special nor hot. it was drinkable but easily better options avail close by. the food how...
Read More →Unfortunately, I was expecting more from this place in terms of coffee. Yes the food is great, but like their sister cafe Snow Pony in Balwyn, the quality of coffee doesn't match the reputation.
If you're after a pretty decent coffee though, this place is worth a try. It's a cosy setting and the staff are friendly. The food is also brilliant and the selection of teas is worth a mention!
I'd come back here, but not in a hurry...and there's better coffee not too far down the road.
Sister cafe to Snow Pony - there a sense of familiarity from the decor, service style and matching menus.
Came here for lunch a while back (it's not going to get into Cheap Eats) and the coffee was excellent.
If you're in the neighbourhood, once you find it you shouldn't be disappointed.
Truly loved this place. This was my second visit and I didn\'t walk away disappointed. Great coffee, fun and friendly service, products to walk away with and super decor - I loved the wall plates (Shame there not for sale).
Coffee was well balanced, not too strong and lovely fern coffee art.
(small side note - the take-away coffee I grabbed at close of day was a little bitter and watery, so much can change in 45mins)
But I\'ll still return for more :)
