I came here looking for a good coffee with my friend and much to our dismay, the coffee was fairly average. Maybe it was a bad day at the office for the barista, but my macchiato was dark and burnt and my friend's cappuccino over-extracted and watery. The service wasn't great either, nice people but didn't feel very professional. Great location, setting and atmosphere though.

Pearl Cafe is the little sister of the famous Pearl Restaurant & is set just down the road in a converted warehouse like shell. The roof has exposed beams and the floor is a nice iundustrial polished concrete. They are running a nice La Marzocco machine in one corner of the long stainless steel counter coupled with a Mezzar Grinder. The coffee is from Gravity & is their 6 Degrees Darker blend. I cant talk for the espresso on this visit however the Flat White I had there was very smooth with nice nutty almost caramel hints through it. The milk was not too hot and was adorned with a nice rosetta...
