Pause is now called gios as of 2010. Coffee is best on racecourse rd but not outstanding by any stretch of the imagination. Just your average merlo cup.

I used to live about 50m off racecourse road and would have drunk hundreds of coffees at Pause (because they were convenient and good), and then they changed to serve Gloria Jeans.... now, I am happy to report they have changed back to Merlo beans.

The coffee I had was enjoyable, slightly bitter, but still enjoyable. The staff here were extremely friendly. There aren't many good places to get coffee on Racecourse Rd, so Pause would be your best spot.

This well situated and comfortable cafe serves Merlo coffee. The cafe buys freshly roasted beans each week. The coffee is a blend of beans from around the world. The skinny latte I had was slightly creamy, not bitter, and left a nice taste in the mouth. The feeling I got was that this cafe looks after its customers and are proud of their coffee.
