I frequently visit ONA twice a day and rarely resist ordering a piccolo to drink at the bar while waiting for my take-away cap.
Kirri, Danny, Isaac, Kelly et al are genuinely friendly and always happy to offer tips and advice for home coffee preparation - and if you ask nicely, a vast range of animals may appear in your foam :)
While there are a number of coffee experiences on offer; a speciality blend piccolo, and a cold drip (either still or carbonated) are my work day staples, and best enjoyed in succession.
Been going to ONA for a while now and all other coffee houses are a thing if the past. If I can't go ONA, I'll go without. I normally knock out a soy flat white or short black, but I have started getting on the Cold filtered Coffee- what a drink, smooth with no bitterness, try it out- you will love it. Great during the warmer months.
For a feed, my favorite has to be the Spanish Wrap- great for breakfast. Although not on the menu, if you ask you shall receive and dare I say this, it is sensational!
I'm a frequent visitor to Ona Fyshwick - I stop by every working day and some Saturdays too. The staff always remember my name and most importantly my coffee order. It would be difficult for me to choose between their breakfast and cake menu. For shear decadence I would recommend that you try their eclairs.
Been coming here for a while now, even after 6 months away first day back remembered my order, name everything.
Awesome coffee very consistant never had a problem. Great staff very nice place to sit on a sunny saturday and great food.
My favourite coffee in canberra by far.
I visit here every morning on my way to work. What I love is the consistency of the coffee. Ona display their many awards in front of their machine, and so they should. All the staff are friendly and not only remember my name but remember my order as I walk through the door. Certainly the best food in Fyshwick and possibly the best coffee in Canberra. Love it!

I was told this Guatemalan would contain flavours of sugarcane, and tropical acidity, and I got this and more. It was perfectly balanced with an amazing viscosity I should change my regular choice more often. Though having it made before I even sit down is not something I would readily leave behind. :)
I had been looking for a really good coffee in canberra for a while. ONA Fyshwick really hits the mark. Great coffee every day. Have not had a bad one and have been there since it opened. The staff are warm and friendly and provide excellent service.
