I've visited Oliver's Cafe twice now and really enjoyed it. The coffee has been consistently good (although a friend who ordered a strong coffee was less impressed), the sandwiches are fantastic in a quirky kind of way and the guys running it seem great. Easily the best coffee in that block.
Like • Share • ReportThis place looks the goods. It's a tiny sandwich bar almost imperviously tucked away near the corner of queen and la trobe. I got dragged out of bed this morning because I had a job interview. Decided to fuel my caffiene senses after I was done. Looks like I made the right call. The coffee was that good that I couldn't fault it and I'm a massive jerk. Service was impeccable and the price right. Grumpy day potentially averted. Would highly recommend on coffee alone but is probably not a bad place to grab a light sandwich or salad based lunch either.
