I've been here several times in the last year and I've always found the staff disinterested if not rude. A lack of eye contact and standard service niceties (hi, please, thank you, etc) has been a running theme which just doesn't inspire a fondness for a place.
Also a pet hate of mine is the "one size fits all" theory. Nude's only take away cup is an 8oz; I know this is not uncommon but I like the option of a larger volume, for example if I just want a latte for breakfast.
It's a shame because it's so close to my home and workplace. The decor is cool, the food is good and the coffee a nice...
Maybe it's because I'm an espresso drinker, but this place didn't cut the mustard with me. The coffee left me quite nonplussed. I noted the milk-based coffee coming out with decent art and looking well-prepared, but if what I drank was their base, it's a white-wash.
Nice people and decent atmosphere.
Great coffee, food and atmosphere. The place is at little oasis on weekends when the neighbouring markets can make the area quite busy. The staff can be fairly arrogant and have often delivered me the wrong order, but I keep going back as it tastes so good!
