Moved into Thornbury in November and nothing's come close to Northern Soul.
The coffee is simply outstanding - unvarying in its quality - and the menu is excellent.
Can't fault the service and the free wi-fi makes the whole experience pretty close to perfect.
Highly recommended.
Only been once, but certainly plan to return. Nice comfortable, practical fittout. Currently serving Toby's Estate (one of my favourites), which was well made. Judging by the crowd they are popular with the locals. My glass was superheated which made my short mach a bit, well hot.
Like • Share • ReportNorthern Soul creates ambrosia like coffee in a funky, welcoming environment. Their lattes and flat whites are creamy and delicious and, I have found, far too easy to drink. It is not unusual for me to pack down 3 or four over breakfast, or get home with a take away, only to want to turn back around for another straight away. Inside it is bright and open, and you can find a table for yourself and friends, or make new ones on the large communal bench.
