Interesting place with some very interesting wallpaper. The service was good but the coffee was not amazing. Flat white was mellow but not strong. The long black had serious crema but the flavor was lacking.

If I could take this interior and place it in my house, I would in a wink; the most delightful interior, absolutely incredible chocolates (including free samples), perhaps the best muffin I've ever had the joy of eating (almond topped with dry fig), great gift ideas and sweet staff. And, best of all very good and very consistent short macchiato.

If you ever wondered where you could specifically choose from 21%, 70%
or 100% cocoa, pick Ghanaian over Tanzanian chocolate or simply taste
some cocoa dusted roasted almonds, look no further. A delightfully
charming addition to smith street, monsieur truffe is a specialty
chocolate store which manages to pump out a mean coffee too.

A friend described this place to me as "Atomica's coffee with better
decor". The decor is Japanese-stationary-shop mixed with the 70s. The
result is a remarkably relaxing feel. John lennon's CD 'imagine' was
