Unfortunately my experience here wasn't as good as others seem to have had. It was late in the arvo, so perhaps the regular barista had gone home... but I guess that's not much of an excuse.
I ordered my flat white and then watched in horror as the shot was left to draw for what must've been close to 40 or 50 seconds before he manually stopped it. But didn't act like there was anything wrong with that. And sure enough, the coffee was burnt and overdrawn.
Unfortunate, definitely, because judging by other reviews, this place can obviously pull a good coffee.
I had high hopes after reading the reviews but came away disappointed. After asking for a Flat white and repeating twice, the barista handed me my coffee saying "here's your cap". I wish I could say that I enjoyed the weak, chocolate covered foam but I couldn't do it.
Disappointing...
This is a great cafe , have walked passes many times. Had trouble location this place as the address on bean hunter map is wrong ! It\'s in the basement level of the QVB. Beautiful flat white , rich creamy texture and lovely chocolate aftertaste. Nice latte art too. Will definitely be back here soon !
Like • Share • ReportOne of my favourite cafes in the city (or Sydney for that matter)! I really love the pizzas - there is no other pizza like it....simply mouthwatering! The coffee is superb and the service is always efficient and really friendly. They really know what they're doing at this place....they've got the formula right. It's a MUST TRY!

Be sure to check this one out, both for great coffee and delicious pizza.
