Had a small cappuccino and found it too weak for my tastes. My guess is the flat white is a better choice. Nice vibe but very pleased with itself.

I popped in here this morning. Ordered my standard cappuccino.

It's in the middle of soho and is kinda bland considering. I mean, it's trying to have a cool vibe, but it's just lacking something. The service was standard.

Back to the coffee: froth was good, coffee good also. I had a small and so assumed that a single shot would have been strong enough. It really wasn't. That said it was still tasty and smooth, just needed a bit more of a kick.

We had heard legends that there were faithful groups of Aussies in the UK, trying to convert our commonwealth brothers from their dreary coffee ways of the past. So after some very average 'coffees', my band and I dedicated a day to finding the proper coffee experience we were craving.

Obviously, we went to Milk Bar, and we loved it. Friendly aussie barista Mickey, not only served up some proper flat whites, espressos and croissants, but also offered some welcome banter about coffee and the UK music scene.

The flat whites were strong, properly textured and smooth, appropriately hot (no...

Lived in London for the last 10 years and it was a hard choice, but I rate this as the No.1 coffee in London, with Flat White, Lantana and Coffee Plant close runners up...
Great staff, great coffee, awesome Aussie (OK they're mostly kiwi's) scrambled eggs to compliment the coffee.

I am in London for 3 days and wanted to use the opportunity to do a little coffee tour of some places on my hit list. Milkbar, Flate White and the New St Ali were the go and my dear friend Mikey Sorbello who works at two of these places was my host.

So Milkbar is an amazing little cafe in the Soho district of London. Its walls are graced with some cool artwork from a local talent which at times would steal my attention mid conversation. It's a nice simple fit out that lacks any form of pretense making you feel comfortable and welcome. I started with a double ris piccolo which was smooth and...

Very awesome.. This place outdoes itself.. It's like warney hooking up with Liz Hurley.. Does London deserve this wonderful coffee experience? The simple answer is no. Yet just as Warney defied the odds and punched well above his weight.. So this little gem outperforms it's surrounds.. Check it out peasants

The coffee is just as amazing as in Flat White but this place is that little bit nicer. And a whole lot quieter!
