Not bad coffee, not great either..i only had one coffee because i was in a bit of a hurry but it seemed a bit bland and lacked body and flavor. Ive herd good things so will give it another try to see if it was just the one mediocore coffee.
great flat white, espresso and consistency if you are around the CBD area.
although prepare to queue for your morning coffee.
one of the few places my colleagues and i get our daily grind in the city.
Only sought this cafe out (with a friend) due to reviews so expectations may have been a bit too high. Nice coffee but not exceptional. Plenty of other cafes in Sydney make very good coffee. Certainly worth dropping in and very good coffee. I will definately try it again if I'm in King Street.
Tried this place today after reading about it on bh. Great coffee. Obviously really tuned in to their roasting at this joint. Dint bother trying to get a seat. Your chances are one in a million. Go with the takeaway and enjoy like a hobo on the side of one of the city's many dirty alleys.

Busy place, so try out of peak times if you want a table.
Explaining their dedication to perfect espresso... I've been there early on a Saturday before they had any other customers, and the barista poured five shots down the sink before he was happy enough with the flavour to serve it to me. You also see them regularly tasting the coffee and adjusting for small changes in the flavour profile.
Always good and a really interesting blend. Only negative is that to get any flavour in a milk based drink, you really need to ask for a double - which at Mecca prices makes it an expensive coffee.
