Cafe Mecanica is a must for coffee lovers, on foot, in a car and especially on motorbikes. There is plenty of motorbike parking right outside and inside the coffee is great. Try Sam's toasties too. Fabulous on a cold day.

Best coffee in the Yarra Valley. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere facing the Yarra river not the main road. You can be certain to always meet some locals.
Owners Sam and Kyall will always welcome you with a smile. Kyall loves good coffee as much as his Ducati!
Situated under the bakery and off the main street, Mecanica is frequented mostly by locals. The outdoor seating is relaxed and offers wonderful views of the surrounding hills without the noise of the traffic whizzing by on the main street. Inside is even more relaxed with "motor bike" themed wall hangings and bits'n'pieces.
Staff (owner Kyle) is very friendly and is keen to know everyone.
Coffee is very good Ducati brand.
Definately worth a visit if you are in the area and want to stay away from tourist type cafes.
