Mavi review
Coffee worth travelling for... is their slogan but it should say "Coffee worth waiting for???" And even that is questionable.
If you have more than half an hour to spare while you line up and either wait for your order to be taken, or wait for them to make your take-a-way coffee, go for it, but anyone in a hurry should steer clear of this place.
Average waiting time from your order being placed to getting your coffee is, on average 20-25+ minutes, even when there are only a handful of customers waiting!)

The office district North of Woden Plaza has many cafes, most of which produce very ordinary coffee. Therefore my interest was piqued when Mavi opened for business in the new Sirius building. Having worked in Barton, I was already familiar with the "other Mavi", a Turkish cafe/restaurant in the Hotel Realm building: their food is awesome, but their coffee not quite (despite Veneziano beans).
Well, to cut a long story short, the new Mavi has excellent coffee, thanks to a combination of those same Veneziano beans (love that bountiful and smooth crema) and a full-time barista skilled enough to...
