Been here a few times, and it's my favorite place in Newtown for a coffee and croissant!Feels like i'm stting inside a bakery - it all seems so real and fresh. The place is simple and relaxing. These guys hold their own with their coffee, which is pretty good in this neighbourhood.
Heard about this place for a while, and finally had a chance to pop in for breakfast.
The service was fantastic. Even though they were very busy, we were served quickly enough. Their EFTPOS machine was on the blink and the response - come back sometime and pay us, it's our fault. Nothing like trust to make the experience great.
Solid food and good coffee. Wouldn't necessarily pop in here for a coffee only (there's other places nearby that do better coffee), but for coffee + something to simple to eat, it's a great choice.
The only downside is that they only have one high-chair, so if ...
Whenever I travel home to Sydney the first stop in Newtown has to be Luxe! I had the BEST sandwich I have ever had in my entire life here, and not to mention a whole range of other amazing sweeties! I love everything that Luxe has to offer - coffee, food and atmosphere are all exceptional. Great to see the bakers doing their thang out in the kitchen too! Cannot wait til I'm back in Sydney again!

The coffee is always consistent and the treats for dessert are yummy, I love the custard tart it is sensational.
Grab some of their sourdough as well it is one of the best in Sydney.
Not a massive campos fan myself, so was in a positive mindset, especially based on prev beanhunter reviews. Sad then to be disappointed. Strong fw was served, eventually, with the seriously burnt milk not exactly complimenting the ashy coffee. Service was slow in a lazy way rather than a 'busy and worth the wait' kinda way. And I had so wanted to love you guys! But i couldnt even finish the coffee, instead went next door to get the devil you know.
