No idea where the original barista has gone (thought he was the owner) but they have a new man in town and he's no good! Coffee's never been amazing but it's that harsh full flavour that gives you a real pick-me-up in the mornings and what they lacked in quality they always made up in service!

One of the worst salads I've had in a while. I requested no salad dressing as I don't like oily food. I asked for vinegar on the side. Just about the only fresh item in the salad was the lettuce. The rest was oil-marinated tomatoes, peppers, olives, onions etc. Thus although no dressing, the salad was soaked in oil from these slippery (as opposed to fresh, crunchy) ingredients.
Also, when I asked for salt and pepper, it turned out there is only one set in the restaurant! I was given the use of it briefly, then it was promptly taken away to the food preparation area. Same with the bottle of vi...

Terrible service. Serving guy was rude & insulting. Don't know if he was having a bad day when I was there, but cafes can't afford to treat their customers like trash or they won't come back (I won't)

The coffee was too milky and did not taste like coffee... I was much disappointed as the one in Milton was pretty good when I last went.

This café is one of those cafes that I return to not for the staff or coffee but purely location and convenience

The coffee is average quality in comparison to the other stores located nearby. It also seems too milky for some reason. Each time I go into the store I feel claustrophobic not because of the size of the store but the way the staff move about. There are 3 main staff; the cook, barista and the cashier.

Staff seem to move about the store to much (unnecessarily during service) which creates confusion especially when making payment. As the store space is limited and with staff...

As soon as you walk into La Dolce Vita you experience the strong aroma of their coffee. I think you notice the aroma compared to other coffee shops as it is very unique. The latte I had wasn't creamy but rather the milk was aerated too violently. The coffee was reasonably good. This cafe is obviously popular as during the 15 minutes or so I was there, a lot of customers were coming in for takeaways.
