Definetly a Mecca for coffee in Wollongong. Atmosphere and friendly staff makes you feel like you have been coming here for years. Nice food, simple and tasty.

kafe is awesome! you can see the coffee being roasted, taste one of their 7 different blends and single origins, and they even have a Barista training school. I went for their first day serving food, the guy running the show was heaps informative about everything. he really new his stuff. their lunch menu is the coolest concept I've heard of, keeping the theme of specialty coffee house they prepare 1 dish everyday for lunch, and it changes everyday! it was explained to be like going to someones house, when your invited for dinner you don't choose from a menu, you eat what's served! the lunch they served was sweet corn fritters with smoked salmon and lime aoli- and it was beautiful!! the coffee is also magnificent. I tried a latte when I arrived using their house blend #1, made with a double ristretto it was just the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity leaving a lingering aftertaste. after my meal I tried the sumatran fair trade organic in an espresso. you can tell these guys take pride in what they do, the espresso had an excellent crema, well balanced flavour with a good body and short sweet aftertaste.

I give these guys my personal thumbs up and have no problem recommending them to any coffee lover!
