Joe's was recommended by customers in Gimme Coffee's Mott Street store. I was staying in hotel accommodation nearby in the Upper West Side. Defenitely worth the trek through the snow. Friendly staff and great coffee. A few locals even recommended great places to eat out nearby. However seating inside is defintely intimate - may not be the venue for you if you have sensitive business issues to discuss, as the people at adjoining tables will now all about it!

This place has quickly become one of my favorite places to grab coffee in New York. These guys are clearly professionals when it comes to making a good coffee. The service is friendly, but the place itself is pretty small and the tables are even smaller, so don't expect to find a seat easily. The line is usually out the door Saturday/Sunday mornings but is definitely worth the wait. Cash only.
