Jerry's looks super retro-cool on the outside and even more so on the inside.
My soy cap was cracking: strong, smooth flavour, great head and perfect temp. If I'm being really pedantic there was a hint of separation between foam and body but was still one of the best coffees I've had in a while.
Food menu sticks mainly to the breaky staples but nailed both of ours. And what's a diner without a good Canadian breakfast eh?
Can see why it's a local icon. Long may it rein.
Jerry's is an Elwood institution. It has been there longer than many Elwood residents have been alive. Inside is a mixture of relaxed tables and a traditional "Milk Bar" complete with lollies. Good food and great coffee. The barista takes pride in his work and this shows in the quality of the coffee.
