This cafe is arguably the best located in the ACT - it enjoys total water frontage and on a warm day is a lovely place to relax. The service is very hit and miss though. Although the staff are friendly and pleasant, they are often under staffed. If you turn up at a peak time, then the wait for food and coffee can be very lengthy. I waited 38 mins for a takeaway latte once. The coffee is also pretty medium in terms of quality. The focus is on other areas (the bar and food) and so the coffee quality just depends on the mood and skill level of the barista....which varies.
This place is about atmosphere. Coffee is alright generally and they have teadrop tea's which are tops. Again dependent on the barista to the quality of the coffee...some know what they're doing, and others, well, need a few sessions.
Great cocktails though and a nice menu.
This place is very modern, relaxing and nice to sit and socialize in.
A fantastic location right next to the water and the ONLY place worth considering for a tasty and healthy breakfast. The coffee however could be better.
The Veneziana beans were under extracted and the milk obviously wasn't being refreshed between orders. There is potential here, but at the moment the only reason I'm going back is for breakfast and the bar (not in the same vist though).
