Went here yesterday after looking at BH. This is a great spot for great coffee. Nuff said. Like a previous reviewer said,\"Do it!!!\"

Reviewed by: Timcasa | Date: 8th May 2010 via iPhone App | Report this reviewThis is great little gem. I've visited the new shop twice on 79 Lower Richmond Road, which is just up the street from the older shop. The coffee is consistently good and the last time I went I had a piece of pear & almond tart, which was perfection.
Looking forward to repeating the experience this Sunday with some mates.
Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Some great pictures on the walls!

This is the home of the true Flat White (not that horror stolen by the big chains). Grind does a real fair dunkum, true blue Fat White in the real original Kiwi style. A must for any Kiwi in London, or anyone for that matter, Australians too.
Reviewed by: Downunderman | Date: 17th February 2010 | Report this reviewAs a coffee loving Putney local, a decent cuppa usually meant an hour's trek across town. Not any more. Grind Coffee Bar has opened to a collective sigh of relief from the many Kiwis and Aussies in SW15, and no doubt many Brits will join the exodus from the overheated milkiness of the High Street chains to this little gem on Lower Richmond Rd.
For those brave enough, try the Piccolo. A little shot of liquid gold....and strong!
For now, Grind is our little secret - it won't stay that way!
This is one of the few truely independant coffee shops in London. If you know your coffee then you will love this place - the beans are sourced and roasted exclusively and the barrista actually knows his stuff. Streets ahead of the dross you get at the big chains.
Reviewed by: Frep d'oronge | Date: 7th February 2010 via iPhone App | Report this reviewThe quality of the coffee is on a similar level to Flatwhite and Milkbar and the owner, Dave, roasts his own beans. There are muffins and biscuits on offer, and for those Kiwis missing a bit of home, pineapple lumps are on sale.
The interior is still a work in progress, but the environment is relaxed, music is great and staff (Dave!) friendly.
