As the main coffee shop in 'middle' Camberwell, Goodness Gracious is adequate. The coffee is fine but not spectacular, while the atmosphere isn't memorable. It's mainly set up for takeaway though, so perhaps this is forgivable. However, the vanilla slice here is great - they've won a few awards for it and it's worth popping in to try one.

Tucked in amongst Safeway and a string of shops- the sign out the front draws people to it...serving a mean vanilla slice, it is good to wash down with a coffee. Not bad for a quiet cafe, need to work on consistent coffees to compliment their great food and genuine service! Worth a visit in between the shopping.

On busy Riversdale Rd, in a not-so-busy part of Camberwell, this little cafe services the local businesses and has won a good reputation with them. The interior is nothing special to look at or sit in, but from the trade I observed there, it seemed mostly take-away.
The food and caked looked appetising, and the service came with a smile.
The coffee looked nice, with cappuccino froth extending over the rim of the cup. The coffee itself was a good strength and nice flavour. It could have been milkier though.
