The coffee here was very ordinary, with the milk being scalded. Service from very young and disinterested staff as well, in a large room, with no intimacy,adds to a place where you would not go for coffee alone.

Good food at a decent price an the staff are fairly attentive. The coffee is all standard fare and they're happy to take it back and try again if it's not up to your expectations. Generally not a good spot if you're just after a coffee though.

I second timfazio on this one. This is the place to 'see and be seen' in Camberwell, especially if you're a high school student at one of the private schools in the area. I used to come here often in my high school days and nothing has changed. The coffee is still terrible, the food is passable though.

I've been to Georges too many times to count. I've had countless friends work here, have been to 21sts here, and have had dinners here.

I've always found the food to be tasty, but overpriced.

The service is friendly, but the waitstaff are generally pretty young.

The atmosphere? Well, there's an amazingly large space, with no dividers. With the wooden floor, this makes for a noisy dining area. It's very sterile/modern.

I went here for a coffee tonight, as not a lot is open in Camberwell on a Sunday evening, and was so disgusted with my coffee I actually sent it back. The second cof...
