Very disappointed! It is my 4th time visit this cafe. It should be a great cafe w such relaxing atmosphere. The coffee really fail us to come back again.
Honestly, the coffee aroma is okay, and the milk foam... :-(
But, it supposed to be v good coffee usually!
After noticed how the barista fixed the coffee, we realize it is just because she is not fixing it w passion and heart!!!
Had a coffee at this place on a recent trip to HK. Pretty decent coffee considering how hard it is to find a properly made cuppa (locals love McCafe and Starbucks if it's any indication of the standards in HK). Service was slow but the cafe's ambiance was really nice.
Like • Share • ReportDefinitely up there on my list of faves in HK. One of those places which unashamedly focuses on coffee and adds to that with great service, and not because they have an army of staff. The service is terrific, no matter how busy the floor staff they will remember your order and where you are - even if you move seats. They embarrass some restaurants.
The coffee is dependant on the grind for me : the baristas are always spot-on. No matter how busy the extraction is consistent.
Fuel gets extra points because they not only serve flat whites, but know that there is a difference.
The Expresso here can kick your ass if your not careful :-) It's an extremely strong blend.
I enjoyed my coffee and it's well above other chain stores but I did find the atmosphere a little sterile for my liking. The food was palatable but not amazing. Also no free Wifi.
On the upside the atmosphere was hip and there was lots of seating. Recommend this place for a quick coffee, but not to take a first date :)
I drop by fuel each time I check in the airlines city check-in in IFC2. Great coffee and warm ambience, a cozy welcome to the otherwise cold mall in IFC2. Service is good . I have to say that\'s been pretty consistent in hong kong the past few years!

Crema coffee is technically superior and the service and atmosphere much more 'homely'. I found Fuel to be all to 'sterile'. Also no WiFi when I was there, but this could have changed?
I was bemused by some STANDARD coffee terms that the Kiwis have taken it upon themselves to 'TradeMark'. Espresso preparation systems 'interesting' to say the least.
If you are near IFC, then definitely worth a visit - but if you are closer to TST and prefer a coffee prepared with passion, then head to Crema...
