Great little cafe tucked down the side streets of south Melbourne. Tiny two group La Marzocco, Mazzer grinder and Allpress coffee all good ingredients for decent coffee. My Picollo was nice, maybe slightly coarse grind washing away some depth of flavor but still very pleasant.
Worth a check out if your in the area.
I discovered this delightful little place the other week whilst frequenting the South Melbourne Market and have since been back 4 times!! It's a newcomer to the Melbourne cafe scene and whilst small, it "packs a punch" in terms of friendly, welcoming staff, delicious food (all house-made, of course) and best of all my personal fav, Allpress coffee!
Freestyle is really quite unique, it offers a great menu with traditional favourites made with a twist (their Bircher muesili was to DIE for!!). The owner came out to chat with us and really made our stay so welcome, her personal style of servic...
We found Freestyle down a little lane way in South melbourne and just loved it. Really warm interior, friendly staff, beautiful food and seriously great coffee. We felt it was the total package and we were made to feel so welcome.
They've only been open a couple of weeks, and once they're discovered they're going to be loved by many and super busy!
