As a summer hill local this is my favorite cafe! The beautiful courtyard is the perfect place to bask in the sun on a winters day and in summer under the shade of the jacaranda tree.
The menu has recently had a refresh, which has added a good range plus everyone's cafe favourites. My fav is the quesadilla and ricotta pancakes! Yummm. I really enjoy their coffee, as it should as your local and it's always a good temperature.
The customer service does deserve some attention, on busy days you may have to grab someone's attention. Most of the staff are genuine and lovely but a few could get a les...
Nice place for a lunch but it's often hard to get the staffs attention (seems a little disorganised both times I went). The coffee is good but not earth shattering. Food was yummo, pretty standard cafe fare.
The art on the walls is a great feature though. Might go back and buy some soon.
I am a local in the area and was told by another local that the Barista at Envy makes one of the best coffees in SYD. I went in and ordered a coffee over the weekend ( after contemplating much......as I was being a trator to my usual cafe) and I was impressed. Temperature was just right and coffee was smooth. I'll be going back! Also, I was impressed by the Barista asking me straight up how many sugars I'd like. It isn't the usual at most cafes......especially on a busy Saturday.
Like • Share • ReportCame to the cafe after reading the review in Bean Hunter. Like the previous reviewer we found the art work pleasing to look at and courtyard wonderfully relaxing even when crowded.
Was easy to find a table for two on Sat lunch hour. Big tree on the middle of courtyard provides cool shades on a hot summer day.
Nice place with a good coffee to match.
