Good coffee - depending on who makes it (the owner makes a great coffee).
Rolls and bread are tasty. Good service and quick.

Love the service and most of the time the coffee is excellent. Really nice place to spend some time or meet up with friends..

The Convent is almost good.. it feels a bit franchisee and cold at times.. it's one of the better places around my house to get a good lunch from for a fair price.. i gotta say i like the food.. it's just what you want for lunch time fun times..
the coffee is sadly lacking.. it's rare that i have enjoyed a coffee here. i stay away from ordering anything with milk in it here.. it can be bad..

While it may be confused with Chapel Bakery on Glenferrie road, The Convent in Kew is extremely nice. The coffee is tasty and the atmosphere relaxing, with the owner taking time out to have coffee with the locals. The food is tempting and a great range of bread is on offer (pretty sure it's from the fantastic bakery at the Abbotsford Convent.)

Have a go when you're in Kew, inside is gorgeous, comfy chairs and papers. Kick back and relax and have a genuine coffee.

An offshoot of the Abbotsford Convent Bakery, this little store may not be steeped in tradition, but is just as cute as its parent and much cuter than its sister cafe, Chimmy's.

French cane chairs are duly complemented by cute French tables and cast iron lace work. A window of freshly baked convent bread greets you as you enter, and a selected of very good looking pastries and focaccias adorns the internal window.

Service is friendly, and coffee above average. My flat white was quite mild, but not lacking in flavour. A lovely texture was to be had, and the temperature was just right.
