This is my treat place. I love ambling here mid morning for some breakfast and a coffee or two. It's always busy, but there's plenty of places to sit down and it's a great place to watch the world go by.
Their food menu is excellent, choice of coffees is also ace. They roast just a few doors down the road, so you can always pick up a nice coffee to take home and brew. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.
Equal best coffee in London. Quite simply, nobody does a flat white any better than this. Amazingly consistent, great service (if you're a regular you'll be known by name) and the food is also a treat, my fav is the halloumi and hommous sandwich ;) Oh, and I just moved around the corner and am oh-so-pleased that this is here. Can be a tad busy on market days (Saturday).

The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the place had a buzz to it. Despite playing some edgy rap music the clientele seemed middleclass and arty.
The furniture is simple wooden low benches and Ikea bar stools.
Machine: Linea.
Blend: Tanzanian estate, Indian Mysore.
The toasted ciabatta I had was great too. Eggplant, cheese and sweet chilli.
Go!
Really great coffee. Best coffee I've found in east London. Way better then anything on Brick Lane.
Nice feel inside with wooden benches. There's a nice bar with tall chairs to sit at facing out the window and out of the way of the queue. There's some tables out the front if the weather is nice. Great music and not too loud.
It gets extremely busy on weekends, especially Saturday when the market is out on the street. Great place for lunch with a nice simple food menu, even though the kitchen closes too early (3pm on Sundays).
