While the coffee here can be pretty good, I've found it to be much too inconsistent to be worth the trip. You never know what you're going to get with the coffee, which is a shame as the high end machine (La Marzocco) is capable of making a fantastic coffee.
The service is generally pretty good, better than what you generally expect from a building's lobby coffee bar.
The atmosphere is pretty good, though it's a very busy area so not fantastic if you're looking for some privacy!
I can see how and why this cafe is popular however I wasn't actually that impressed with the coffee. The milk was poorly textured and the coffee was only warm. Given the setup and equipment (2 x LM's, Mazzer's etc), I was expecting much more from this cafe.

Reviewed by: rmoore | Date: 4th October 2009 | Report this reviewGreat coffee, Chocolate Soldier is my weapon of choice for starting the day without fail. Fast service, and they know what I like, plus good fun team. Not the best atmosphere being in a lobby, though take your coffee to couches if you want to sit and enjoy it.

Reviewed by: bnecoffee | Date: 27th August 2009 | Report this reviewThe shop is well designed and looks appealing. However, not suitable if you were to hold a private conversation. The coffee was good, but not consistent. I have tasted burnt coffee on some occassions.

Excellent service, my coffee is usually made before I pay for it.
The guys and gals have a great sense of humour and make you feel welcome.
Chocolates and cakes are absolutely wonderful.
This cafe is very well situated in CBD Brisbane in George St. The seating allows people to have some time to chat but not for long. The chocolates are a wonderful addition to some beautiful coffee. The staff are friendly and provide a high quality service.
Reviewed by: didups | Date: 23rd June 2009 | Report this reviewThis is a great cafe in the Telstra building on George Street. Very efficient, they know their regulars and provide consistent coffee. They run two chocolate coloured LM's matched with Mazzer's. The bean is Campos, and they pull great shots. It is also pretty comfortable, with some nice leather couches opposite that you can sit on in the foyer as well.
