Although recently changing owners, Chic still seems to manage a high quality product and a remarkably warm atmosphere considering the city location.
A great oasis of pure good coffee in an area that doesn't always boast such services - I still call Chic one of my favorite places (Although I really used to love the previous owners!).
If you want a good solid coffee, this is a good place to be :) A nice selection of sweets and nibbles too!
I have to say my recent visit to Chic was my first and it was just fantastic! While the coffee was superb and beautifully presented it was a number of other 'little things' that struck me.
The food was restaurant quality, I had and absolutely delicious peri sandwich and some fresh bannana bread to follow.
The staff are friendly, efficient and have a real eye for detail. Not once did I have to get back up from enjoying my lunch to ask for something and the service was prompt.
Chic has a warm friendly vibe about it with outstanding food and coffee just a standard part of the visit.
It was clear that many people were keeping a close eye on the transition at Chic Espresso recently. Its fantastic to see new owners Ada & Shannon have not only preserved the quality but have also improved on minor aspects of the cafe. Coffee is still by far the best in brisbane and i nice refreshing change to the menu is just what the place needed. Warm, friendly, and refreshing. Keep up the good work guys

Dean and Catherine accommodated my meetup group so brilliantly, I would say the best service of any event I've hosted. Two single-origins were available, PNG and Columbian, and I had the PNG as a standard latte and the Columbian as a piccolo. Both excelled in character and flavour. Look forward to making this place a regular!

It was only alright that time but I've been back just about every week since they first opened. Dean and Catherine are wonderfully warm hosts who are trying to do everything right and they are improving in leaps and bounds. It's a pretty competitive area but they are without doubt the people that I will go to again and again when I need an awesome cup of coffee.
I rate them pretty high up there, with espresso shots that are on par with any other specialty cafe or roastery in Brisbane. Best ...
Okay, I was expecting something better. The other reviews were so impressive!! Ridiculously long wait for coffee that was weak and watery with a bitter tang overpriced sandwiches. Not many other customers in there when I was there, and they all already had their coffees, I guess I'll never know why it took close to 15 minutes for mine to arrive..... Lucky I wasn't in a hurry
