meh.
my coffee was not bad.. but not great. I drank it whilst reading the paper. Looking around i noticed i was the only customer who was male and not driving a 4 wheel drive with a baby seat in the back. shame. i really should move to a cooler suburb.
coffee was of kew standards but not a stand out..
It's a cafe.
In a carpark.
The coffee I had here was (while being a while ago now) drinkable but not gonna wow anyone anytime soon. Friendly enough, kind of atmospherically bare place which you can sit in to overlook a Kew carpark...
Didn't eat anything, maybe that's amazing?
The Carpark Cafe in Kew is an offshoot of a well-established and busy cafe in the Camberwell Market carpark. Unfortunately, the Leo's Carpark isn't quite as busy, and doesn't have a market. This detracts from a lot of the charm of the Camberwell counterpart.
The atmosphere inside is perfectly nice. It's very modern, but not too homely.
The service is slightly rushed, but friendly.
Prices a little steep for what comes out, but then again, there are many cafes charging more.
Although the coffee was unremarkable, I shall remark nonetheless. Lacking a little flavour, the coffee was quite mild. Nothing particularly wrong with it, just nothing stood out.
Perhaps go for the food, and if you need a coffee, it's drinkable.
