What's with this place never being open? When it is, this nook is rad. Coffee is top notch, food is sweet bruschetta-y type things. Smiles all round.

This is a gorgeous little place tucked away just far enough of Smith St to yield peace and quiet, but not too far to be an inconvenience.

The service was friendly and more than enough for a takeaway coffee. If I'd had more time I would have gladly sat in the cosy atmosphere affordeded by Rosamond.

The coffee itself was incredible smooth and creamy, but very mild. Sweet caramel flavours came through, but I would have preferred more bite.

Worth checking out.

Rosamond: perhaps a Collingwood institution in the making? Deliscious lunches (u must try the chicken baguettes or the Di special). If they entered iron chef with avocado as the ingredient, these guys would clean up... Quaint, cosy, slightly exclusive (hidden away and not too many tables), this is one of my favourite haunts in Collingwood. And, depending on who makes it, short macchiatos generally somewhere between consistently good and fantastic.

Cafe Rosamond is your archetypal Fitzroy cafe. Good coffee, friendly baristas and lots of locals. This cafe is a great one for your morning coffee if you're nearby.
