Very smooth cafe latte, definitely recommended. Great food, too.

Mott St is in China Town, lower Manhattan. Cool little spot, with lots of interesting people to watch. Grab a table outside and enjoy the show.
Food is really reasonably priced (for NY) and pretty good. An interesting French/Moroccan thing going on. But most importantly, the coffee is good and I traveled from up town every day that I was in NY. Flat white is good, espresso is better.
Chances are there may be an Aussie working when you visit, but as with most of NY, don't expect idle chatter. The staff I was served by nice enough to warrant a tip, but it seems strictly business.
