I was looking for a decent coffee in the city at night, plus dessert if available, and came across Caboose. I've heard this place mentioned in a number of coffee review websites, so thought I\'d give it a try. Ordered latte, came too strong. Also ordered lemon cake and poached peach w/ riesling syrup and pistachio ice cream. The peach pistachio ice cream is very nice. But the cake is quite hard and bordering too sweet. Don't think I'll come back here.

It was a cold winters morning when I stumbled across Caboose. I was thirsting for a glass of caffeine comfort when I found myself conversing with a very interesting French Barista by the name of Vincent. Seriously this guy should be cast in a movie. He welcomed me to sit an enjoy a long black made with Fair trade organic beans.

More a restaurant/bar than a true and out cafe, we were having lunch here and I decided I would risk ordering a latte as I noticed the girl at the machine seemed to know what she was doing (I don't normally get coffee at restaurants!). I watched as she made mine, she made the milk to perfection and the grinder was always grinding out small amounts of bean per coffee. This should be resulting in a great coffee i thought.
