Thrilled to have finally found a decent flat white in the north of England and have made bold street my local on the basis of its trendy vibe, talented baristas and overall enticing atmosphere. Thanks guys for bringing Liverpool up to speed with the concept of fabulous espresso.

The filter was perhaps a little on the weak side not sure if that was a one off experience or not, nonetheless was good to try a single origin blend. The barista suggested it had bubblegum overtones but I certianly didn't get that ...
With the flat white, it was well made and tasty - no barista issues for me on this visit to speak off.
Lots of work is going into the offer here with lots of information on what they are up to which is good to see. All in all defintely worth a visit.
We stayed in Liverpool for a weekend, and so set about finding some coffee shops in which to sit and sip. We became defacto regulars of this delightful place over our short stint in town, and were initially very impressed with the quality of the coffee. The barista by whom I was served initially refused to make my espresso take away, arguing that the flavour would be lost. Whilst I appreciated his concern, his demeanour left something to be desired. I believe advice is to be encouraged, but, in the end, as a customer with existing awareness and more than adequate respect for a well poured coffee, I reserve the right to request a coffee as I desire/require it without invoking condescention and rudeness from my barista.
the coffee itself, once poured, was a medium bodied floral double s...
The first thing you see that identifies Bold Street Coffee is their eye catching sign, a little quirky in design - but in keeping with the area - and on the day i visited it had quotes and anecdotes from their Facebook fan page (which is already well into 3 figures in followers!)
There already seems to be a loyal following for Sam and his team of baristas and food prep staff, and its not hard to see why.
Bold Street Coffee has a great atmosphere and was larger than I was expecting (am I used to the micro-cafes in London where space is at a premium?)
There are plenty of tables socialise...
Currently we don't have another cafe near Bold Street Coffee. Why don't you suggest one?
