I can see why this place just DOES IT for some people to but I would like to throw in a bit of a different opinion. If you drink coffee, you WILL be pulled into this cafe sooner or later and you WILL be impressed by its equipment and the beans and little touches which make it oh-so appealing but what struck me as a bit rare was that the staff just didn't do it for me. Im not sure whether it was the matching vests or the somewhat business like tone when i was greeted but it did put me off for the rest of the experience....The coffee was good. Definitely one of the best coffee places on the North Shore. Great selection of coffee beans with their regular blends and an ever changing range of single origins. Great staff who take the time to explain the best way to take each bean. Nice atmosphere and great outdoor seating in the heart of Crows Nest.

Everything about Bean Drinking makes it a must-go for visiting coffee enthusiasts and a truly excellent local for North Shore residents: the coffee was flawless and the passionate staff are always happy to share information on the coffee. The vibe is relaxed and though the smallness can be annoying it keeps this joint cosy. The food is great quality as well. I go here heaps.

There is a definate passion for coffee here. The staff are friendly and seem genuinely interested in all things coffee. The place was packed, but the service was fast, and the coffee was fantastic, really sweet with perfectly textured milk.

Brilliant Nicaraguan pour this morning. Milk perfectly textured for a very pleasing flat white. Service fantastic and lovely aspect.
