A skillful take on the Campos blend. A bit of a hidden gem on the floor above the busy MLC food court, much more relaxed up there.
Latte was superb.
They have a surprisingly pleasant seating area too, where you can watch the world go by on King St.
I totally agree. After most of the cafes serving Campos beans in the CBD have let me down, I was surprised of their service and the typical Campos flavour.
Tucked away from all the madness of Martin Place and MLC you get the real thing: regularly changing single origins, poured with passion and skill and served with a smile even at a busy morning.
And that proves my theory: Campos beans are unlike Toby's or Vittoria where even I can extract a decent cup - they're difficult to handle. If you don't know what you're doing it's most certainly undrinkable but if you do... Oh yeahh... One hell ...
I reckon this is one of the best places to experience/enjoy Campos (brand) coffee in Sydney CBD. Located in the busy MLC Centre, but away from the madness of the food court, it's a great place to chill out in the CBD and enjoy a good coffee.
You can pick from Campos' house blend or the single-origin specialty of the week. Each and every shot is prepared with care and close attention to detail - regardless of how many people are queuing for their hit. I've tried all my favourite drinks here - short black, double macchiato and flat white - and I'm still waiting for them to make a sub-standard...
