Bar Cupola is by far the best little cafe/restaurant in Sydney city. The food is consistently great, the coffee is amazing (thanks to the gorgeous Abbi, the barista) and the staff are awesome. The place has atmosphere and personality. Beng and his team are a great bunch of people, who go the extra mile for their customers. Go there, or get your next function catered by them. Trust me, you will love it.
Like • Share • ReportWell what can I say, Beanhunter delivered with this tucked away gem. The coffee was excellent, balanced smooth and easy to enjoy. The prompt service and $3 large takeaway pricing add to the attraction.
I could wax lyrical about the way the cup turned around the morning but instead I\'ll say do yourself a favour and search out Bar Cupola
Blink and you'll miss it? No. This place is HUGE (90% restaurant 10% cafe). But most Sydneysiders have never seen it because it's tucked away in the bowels of the Angel Place Office Tower. It's worth wandering in off the street to give it a try.
Despite the grandiose setting, impressively mood-lit and devoid of natural light, it's all quite down-to-earth when it comes to service. Staff are friendly and professional. And, at $3.00 (at the time of writing) for drink-in coffee, it represents incredible value for money considering the warm ambience and lush surrounds.
