I also think that Altezano makes great coffee. Definitely the best in New Market that I have found. I also love the fact that they give you a chocolate coated coffee bean with your coffee - Awesome!! I would definitely recommend this cafe - It's small but good!

It was until recently, impossible to get a decent coffee in Newmarket, Auckland. In fact you just couldn't. Kenzie and Mecca are two cafe's there who could give it away and I'd say they're ripping you off. As a shopping district, this has always been frustrating.
But now we are blessed with hidden little secret called Altezano. It is tucked away behind the Rialto complex just around the corner from Zambezi and Workshop.
These guys mean business. Altezano are coffee roasters and their off the shelf beans are really top notch. They also have an espresso bar at the top of Symonds St...
