On holidays from Melbourne... This cafe had the highest rating for Adelaide, so I thought it was a must try. Maybe my expectations were too high but this place failed to impress. The latte was not creamy, the foam just sort of sat on top of the milk. It was drinkable but not up to the standard I have come to expect in Melbourne.

Alfonso's is a boulevard cafe/restaurant delivering a traditional Italian family dining and coffee experience to Adelaide that is hard to match. The atmosphere is exquisite, and the service a very high standard from skilled and experienced staff. The glint on this gem of a cafe is its imported coffee, which is always consistent and delivered to your cup with perfection to match. There's much to enjoy here. While away a lazy Sunday brunch, pick up a quick coffee on your way to work, or enjoy the full year-round dining experience al-fresco or indoors. The coffee at Alfonso's rates with the best available in Adelaide.
