Great little cafe. Basic, cool atmosphere. Nice staff.
The coffee though - not amazing. The problem is the beans. A slightly uninteresting Merlo blend? The foam was good.
The free wifi, the chilled vibe, the no-minimum eftpos. All great things, the coffee itself just needs to be better.
All that said, it isn't a speciality coffee house. It's just a little cafe trying to do well. As they develop I'm sure they will become more experienced and as such their coffee will be better.
If you're in Townsville, definitely drop in!
Had a coffee here couple of months ago and was left a bit disappointed, the flat white was okay however lacked any real body or intensity, just a plain generic merlo blend. The short black was even more disapointing, I could almost see the bottom it was that watery and lacked any crema.... Overall bit disappointed, great location and atmosphere just poor barista skills.

The jaffles, free Wi-Fi and board games make it one of my favourite places and I love just spending time there..
By far the best coffee shop Townsville (and north Queensland for that matter) has to offer. A great selection of mouth watering jaffles and enough pieces of art and merchandise to keen you enticed and entertained for hours. Their selection of penny boards was my personal favourite. A Friendly Staff that make you feel like one of the crew.
Great job guys and keep up the good work, looking forward to my next visit.
