Burnt and bitter.
Allpress coffee is no guarantee that the coffee will be remotely drinkable. It does seem that an airport location is a guarantee of bad coffee.
If you need it strong Quickshots can do that, however if you don\'t mind weak coffee, McDonalds would probably be no worse at half the price.
It should be a no brainer...airports red eye flights caffeine = happy travels
It's not like there are no options at an airport..in fact it seems like everyone has an espresso machine these days. The problem is despite all the "options" it really boils down to two:
1. Weak and milky
Or
2. Burnt and bitter
Quickshots has a lot going for it on the surface...beans by Allpress and a shiny La Marzocco FB70 dominating the counter...what could possibly go wrong you ask....well plenty.
I ordered a flatwhite and I almost cried as I watched them make it....the shot may just have been pas...
