  Pretty good coffee here. Was well presented although a little bitter/burnt in flavour. Service was solid and lunch was decent.

  Generally love coming down to old battisti, had a magic of the house yesterday by the lovely girl with the red hair, who usually whips up a wicked coffee, but this time I was really disappointed with the effort. Will be back again to try it out soon though.

  Busy little deli like cafe, with an Italian imfluence. Coffee took a whilr to arrive, but the wait was worth it. Single origin from Brazil was full bodied, with cherry ripe notes. The house blend was smooth and balanced, with great acidity. Maling Room beans at their best.

  Very busy right now in the peak of the holiday season but my coffees arrived in under 5 minutes. fantastic coffee - earthy with well textured milk. Staff were very busy but still attentive and polite.

  I wanted to be impressed with this place, given the rave reviews so far, but I have to disagree with the other reviews here.
  My double-espresso was over-extracted, without a satisfyingly aromatic, rather than bitter crema.

  Best cafe on the peninsula by far. The baristas are exceptional at what they do, not only producing quality tasting espresso based coffee but also making new and exciting filter coffee, which is a nigh on impossible thing to find anywhere south of the city.

  Nice coffee shop. Ask for Sam to make you a coffee if his there otherwise a little inconsistent. Very clicky with the locals but nice service all the same. Little on the weak side in flavour so black is the way to go!
