  Great to see the new Strada in action. It did not fail to deliver a well extracted espresso using Market Lanes seasonal beans. The result was a clean, balanced cup, with orange notes.

  Fantastic seating at the verandah. I've enjoyed sitting on the bar stool facing outside, while sipping a cup of good (double shot) latte. However, there was a tad bit of over burnt taste at the end of every sip. The cafe has a very soothing vibe inside. Will definitely drop by again.

  Best extraction of Seven Seeds blend I've ever had with some nice latte art too (which a lot of baristas don't bother with) at a more serene part of South Melbourne.

  Tasty without blowing me away. I do however find seven seeds coffee a little underwhelming when it comes to flavour in milk coffee. Food was excellent.

  Fantastic place. Went here a few months ago and enjoyed it a lot. Coffee was solid, as hoped. Interesting neighbors :) and they make their own honey on the roof.

  Just smashed the most delightful strong Piccolo, so smooth and florally then followed it up with a cracker of a chicken bagel! Amazing! Superb! Made my day!

  Had a great breakfast here on a Saturday, the food was delicious, the coffee was maybe not as amazing as I'd hoped. It was tasty, I enjoyed it, I'd come here again.

  If you are looking for great coffee, great food and a great cafe to hang out in then Dead Man Espresso is your best option. My flawless short mac which was followed by a flat white with perfectly textured milk was a great start to my Sunday morning. I will be going back.

  Impossible.... Flawless piccolos using 7 Seeds. Great breakfast and prompt friendly service. What more could you ask for on a Sunday morning. In terms of longevity and consistency Dead Man is the shining star of Melbourne cafes.

  Such a great cafe. Seems to do everything well and consistently so. Coffee has definitely continued to improve over time and really pushing to the best in Melbourne. Food is magnificent!

  Great setup in a quiet little corner of South Melbourne. My Costa Rican pour over was one of the best I have had. It was well balanced with no over or under extraction. Great atmosphere and service was alright. I'll have to come back when I'm next down in Melbourne.
