Came here on the back of the Coffee Army book recommendation. Had my reservations about the joint, but thought they put up a decent coff. I reckon they're hindered by the beans. Solid 6.

I ordered a strong latte and it was strong, which was great. The milk was thick and creamy, not to hot either. A nice cup o coffee if you are out this way. Food looked nice as well.

Phil and Neil are both great on the machine, service excellent, and their own special blend of Costa Rican, Guatemalian, and Columbian is an awesome alternative to the house blend.

Atmosphere is scrubbed concrete and blackboard counters with low lighting. Coffee was drinkable but nothing amazing. Food was nice and service was great.

Atmosphere was OK, though a little bit dark & cool. Coffee was pretty ordinary unfortunately, but the service was excellent.

Haven't been for quite a while but always found the coffee (gravity 6 degrees darker) to be a bit light on the dose and so was weak. The bean itself is quite nice, dark an rich. coffee always served well at good temperature tho. Great atmosphere an great jam on toast.

In the area to check out the quirky secondhand book shop in need of a coffee popped into Station Street cafe. The service was exceptional, the coffee smooth and just the right temp.
