  Wasn't the greatest. Could only give my flat white a maximum of 6. I feel a 5.5 is more justified.

  Ordering was interesting. When we saw 'please wait to be seated' and handed menus that it would be table service. Apparently not. Two strong lattes made on a synesso we sensational. Creamy milk, coffee with a hazelnut characteristic and a little woody. Lovely Sunday arvo coffee.

  One of my absolute favorites for breakfast in Melbourne. In a quintessential laneway, the atmosphere is busy and bustling and the coffee is always very good. Food is spot on and by comparison to it\'s neighbors, pretty cheap.

  Thought I would try something new on degraves and found myself a little disappointed. Atmosphere great, service excellent but the coffee was lacking. Ordered a short mac but what I received was closer to a picollo and had quite an unusual taste.

  Consistent, so if you find yourself buying coffee on degraves, give them a try, if you like it, chances are you will again.

  Degraves is the perfect coffee place for between changing trains at flinders. Coffee was great. Strong, perfect temperature and a great taste. Not overly bitter or burnt. Service was quick and social. Especially for 8am on a sat. Atmosphere is what you should expect from Degraves. Busy but cool.
