Not a bad alleyway gem. Serve up a nice cup of coffee. Sanga's go down a treat.

Lots of hypes, need more substance .... yes, it's one of a kind, ambiance wise.

great cafe, wonderful vibe and fit out. food fairly good, service relaxed and professional, milk coffees really let the whole place down. tried two cups just to be sure.. under extracted..and tasted a bit old.. still love the actual place though..

Another laneway hotspot - simple fare, done well. A touch bitter on the coffee, and a bit lost on the latte art (crema all mixed in), But love the kit out.

A great little cafe decorated with bicycles. All the ingredients are here . A unique coffee blend from Sydney's "Little Marionette", a professional barista, a "La Marzocco" coffee machine and friendly service. Recylced jars as drinking glasses gives this cafe an interesting touch.

Sitting here with my latte relaxing to some jazz and waiting for a baguette I can't help but smile as this is the perfect way to spend a rainy Thursday in Melbourne. I like it when everything comes together perfectly. Mule Co is this. With nice bikes too. Happy sigh

Funky little cafe, great atmosphere with very friendly staff. The flat white was OK - could have been a little stronger and was definitely cooler than I'm used to (although this was something I noticed with every cafe I went to in Melbourne). The mocha was a little disappointing - also quite cool... Read more

Really good coffee at the little mule, went down a treat with my lunch also tasty, these guys need to be this good as they are around the corner from brother buba budan. They've only been open 3 days but if they are consistent they'll do well. Was also refreshing to try a new set of beans from... Read more

Lovely little place. Consistent flat whites and well priced food. Barista's look and act the part.

If you like bikes then this cafe not only serve good coffee but also have bikes for you to lust over hanging there on the walls. It's a smallish place and it closes quite early, but its an essential city pit-stop for any hardcore cycle nut. Good atmosphere, excellent sandwhiches, but no wifi.

Fantastic warm atmosphere with bicycle art, Boho vibe and decor. Latte was slightly burned and service decent.

A fine coffee, every time. Little Marionette beans (Sydney) run through a 3-group La Marzocco Linea by an accomplished Melbourne barista. Recommend a double-ris.

Good selection of food including sandwiches, melts and banana bread served with homemade caramel sauce.

As soon as I heard the shop was trading weekdays I made my way down town to see what all the hype was about. I wasn't surprised at all, as there had been a lot of rumours going around about The Little Mule, they were all true. The shop looks great & the coffee was above par. Now all I have to do is... Ok, there are a few places around this end of town serving quality coffee. So 'tick' there. But its the 'not over done' old school feel to the place that draws me. That 15 minute escape to enjoy the coffee is what its all about.

I come here when I want to have my regular cappuccino while lusting after bikes that I cannot afford. The coffee is good, and the sandwhiches are pretty good too. Atmosphere is fine, though for me I tend to become totally transfixed on the bikes.
