if i hadnt stumbled onto this cafe on way out from little wish, i would never have found it. coffee is excellent if you like it rocky style italian strong. a slice of coffee theatre, the ve de monde of small inner city italian cafes! loved it.

Coffee's great, but so was the experience of watching it come together. Authentic Italian organised chaos. Sandwiches are also great if you're looking for a bite. Crusty bread. Yum!

ordered my usual strong latte, and service was great although the coffee was not. it's more of an authentic Italian coffee than a Melbourne one. nice try guys but no thanks.

A small slice of Italy tucked away in an unassuming CBD laneway. It may be small and at times busy but the love is big, very big. Owners Vanessa and Angelo (barista and in-house entertainer) offer first name, first class service with great coffee to boot.

I suppose copying someone is the best form of flattery however none of the other cafe's around Angelo and Vanessa can match the quality of the coffee, the skill of the barrista (Angleo) or the atmosphere of created by Vanessa and Angelo and a true Italian Cafe'

angelo and his wife make a great team. there's only one barista (angelo) but this means consistently good coffee everyday. by your 2nd or 3rd visit, they've already learnt your coffee and probably also your name. they also do a nice lunch.
